This weekend the IMOT – the annual international motorcycle fair in Munich – will take place again. As every year, we will stroll around, find out the latest news, meet friends and acquaintances, and every year we will meet people with whom we have never had contact before. It’s always fun again!

We would like to share with you two highlights of these encounters:

We already know Lobke (at least by name) from Facebook and follow her exciting travels with enthusiasm. Again and again she gives us reason to question our travel style and our previous decisions – this helps us a lot in our planning. After she approached us at the MoskoMoto booth, we started talking, and when it turned out that we had already read about her, it simply had to be a shared selfie. Later we talked with Dieter at the stand of MuzToo (www.muztoo.ch) about the beauty of Kyrgyzstan and received many tips for a trip there. These we will certainly use. On Kirgistan we look forward already particularly. Unfortunately it is still a good year until we can finally leave. At the moment the IMOT must be enough to compensate for anticipation and wanderlust. MuzToo (in English: Schneeberg) has even set up an original Kyrgyz yurt – the eye-catcher of the IMOT par excellence.

Yep – wanderlust!

With so many exhibitors at IMOT, we cannot name them all. But we have stocked up on reading material and can spend the next rainy days thinking about the necessary accessories for our motorcycles before we disappear into the workshop again in warmer weather to put the plans into action.
